OSSEOSIM
Privacy Policy
OsseoSim is an educational implant-placement training game made by Subcrestal Labs LLC ("we", "us"), Fort Worth, Texas. This policy explains what the app collects and why. The short version: we collect only what an account and a leaderboard need, and nothing about patients.
What we collect
Without an account: nothing leaves your device. Your progress, scores, settings and any name you choose are stored on your device only.
With an account (needed only for the Case of the Day world leaderboard and syncing your rank):
- Email address — to send your sign-in code. It is never shown to other players.
- Public username — shown on the leaderboard.
- Game progress — daily scores and times, streak, reputation, rank, and whether you finished the tutorial.
- App version — sent with each daily score so we can fix scoring bugs.
- Reports — if you report a player's name, we record your account, the reported name and the time.
What we don't collect
- No patient information or health data. Every case in OsseoSim is computer-generated; you cannot enter real patient data.
- No advertising, no third-party tracking, no analytics SDKs, no location, contacts or photos.
- We don't sell or share your data for advertising.
How it's used
Only to run your account, show the leaderboard, keep your progress across devices, moderate usernames, and answer support requests.
Who processes it
- Supabase hosts our account database and sign-in service.
- Resend delivers sign-in code emails.
- Apple and Google process app purchases under their own privacy policies. We never see your payment details.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep account data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app: About → Manage Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your email, username, scores and reports right away. You can also email us to request deletion.
Your choices and rights
You can use OsseoSim without an account. Account holders can ask us to access, correct or delete their data by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we'll honor them.
Children
OsseoSim is made for dental professionals and students. It is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Account data is protected by access rules so each player can change only their own records.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and note it in the app.
